Default SOLD - 2013 Martin HD-16R Adirondack Dreadnought

This 2013 Martin HD-16R Adirondack Dreadnought is an absolute cannon and is one of Martin’s best guitars for the money! Gorgeous Adirondack Spruce top with East Indian Rosewood back and sides. Simple Dovetail Neck Joint (as opposed to Mortise and Tenon used on earlier 16 series models). Ebony bridge and fingerboard. Upgraded bone saddle. Herringbone inlays. And many other features you would only find on Martin’s other high-end guitars like the D-28 and D-35 but for hundreds of dollars less!

This guitar plays wonderfully with a huge sound and excellent tone. It has been played very little and is in near mint condition. Only one or two very minor marks that would not show up in pictures. Includes Martin hardshell case also in excellent condition.

My Reverb ad with many pics can be seen here: https://reverb.com/item/10356564-201...-dovetail-neck

Only selling because my playing style lends itself to short scale and/or smaller body guitars. $1,700 for my forum folks. I am also open to partial trade offers for a sub-$1,000 OM, 000, or similar size.

Trade offers welcome, preferably for a sub $1,000 small body, but will consider others.

That is the perfect upgrade from my DC-16RGTE. Its almost the same guitar.
The smaller body, 1-11/16ths are things that Im looking for.

Whats its sound like with the Adi top? Looks mint I checked it out on Reverb.
Im in Vermont suppose you are far from there. Cheers

Adi top sounds excellent and should just keep getting better. Just to confirm, the HD-16r is a full size dreadnought with a 1-3/4” nut. I’m in Louisiana.
