My five cents worth:

1. The Return of The Grevious Angel-Gram Parsons

2. Jet Set- John Prine

3. Hot Burrito #1- Flying Burrito Bros.

4. You Aint Goin Nowhere- Byrds (Sweethart of the Rodeo)

5. Mama Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to be Cowboys - Willie Nelson

I guess these are old school, but so am I.

Funny song, but the best song off that album is "Easy Come, Easy Go", IMO.

"Richey Lee" is pretty darned good, too.

And, of course, "Flowers and Liquor" is funny, too.

Paul, is that the same group as The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band? Thanks. Was looking for the song on iTunes.

Ditto on that but add your own personal touch to it. The song is open to some cool fingerpickin' patterns. But does anyone know what a "pocket full of cain (cane)" might be? A time of hell perhaps?

Tecumseh Valley (Townes Van Zandt) is another good song.
