Pickup for CA Legacy - Baggs Anthem SL?
Hey guys. I have a CA Legacy that a friend let me borrow. He does not like the Fishman prefix that is in it. Weirdly enough, I love that preamp/pickup, especially in the older Taylors. But it just doesnt fit or sound too well on this CA. He told me to find a pickup and install it for him...he doesn't mind the barndoor hole.
I'm an LR Baggs guy. I love the Anthem SL in the guitars that I have. Not sure how it would sound in a CA though. I've heard the Cargos with the regular undersaddle Baggs Element and it sounds fantastic. So would the element be better suited for this guitar over the SL? Would the SL Mic sound good with CA?

Save some grief, you already have the Fishman. Buy a Aura pedal and it will sound very good. Also lately have been using a Zoom A3 to transform a Baggs I-Beam. If you have a clear signal acoustic processors can do a lot to get you where you want to be. EQ is unusually key.
