Default Used a Bose P.A.S. for the first time

The Bose P.A.S. is new around here where I come from and two guys brought their systems to a jam tonight.

We plugged in mikes and acoustic guitars. I used a Taylor 814CE.

The sound was, in general, good and somewhat easier to hear than other P.A. systems I've used in the past.

Two surprises.

The vocals could sure use a bit of reverb (the sound was dry) not built in to the system. Strange.

We experienced significant feed back from the Taylor(year 2000 Fishman blender) until we ran it using only the under the saddle pickup...transducer pickup I think. My Taylor was only about 6 feet from the system, so that could have made a difference.

The surprise here was that I thought the P.A.S. were almost feedback proof. Not so.

Yet, if and when the price comes down a bit, I think I may look at one.

Any other P.A.S. experiences out there?
