The 5-15 had an 1-11/16" nut with a 21.4" scale which isn't ideal for standard tuning so ours will have a 1-3/4" nut with a 24" scale and to keep the bridge in the "sweet spot" it will be a 14-fret. Sort of an all Mahogany version of the custom below.

Now this sounds interesting! Look forward to hearing more.

Yes, the 24" scale does allow for standard tuning and it provides a fuller tone as well. Laurence Juber played the one pictured above at the store and was quite impressed by how big the little guitar sounded.

Looks like they are still scheduled for August but you never know, might see them sooner.

Default Question for Ted

Hello Ted,
First of all, thank you for spending time on the phone this week. guitar Mark Lucas is playing shares many of the specs with the Taylor 322e we talked about. Please take a minute and listen to this and let me know if this even comes close sound wise to the 322e.
Thanks for all your help - I look forward to doing business with you!
Ricketts

Default 00-db

Hi, can these guitars be ordered as a DB? I am looking for a 00-DB with 1 13/16 nut, and 2 5/16 at bridge. Thanks

Left you a message Dallon but FYI a custom based on the 00-DB would have to be a one off and I am happy to get this done for you. Not sure if it would work for you but we have in stock one custom 00-15M with Tortoise binding, 1-7/8" nut and 2-5/16" saddle spacing. See link below.

I am still looking for a 00 or 000, with a 1/13 16 nut, 2 /15/16 at the bridge. I know it will most likely have to be custom. I prefer not having a Modified V neck on the wider nut. Any one out there have something like this?

Martin preferred.

Default Mahogany Burst

These Jeff Tweedy guitars, are the best looking guitars I have ever seen. Wow

I really wish Martin would make these guitars with various models, and woods.

My dream guitar,

Mahogany Burst top. 1 13/16 Nut width

000

2 5/16 String Spacing

14 fret

Scalloped Bracing

Rosewood back and sides

Herringbone trim.

How much would that cost?

Hey folks, wanted to invite you to check out our new eBay store.

http://stores.ebay.com/LA-Guitar-Sales

Not every guitar can be listed on eBay of course so it's still best to contact us direct but it's there for those of you that prefer to shop on eBay.
