Fantastic! Might be caused by generation gap. If so, narrow the gap A bit.

Ditto. I thought the OP wanted information on how to shorten equipment set up at a gig. I have no idea now.

I took my strat in for a setup this one time, and the tech told me the shop was really busy & it would take about a week. I was so annoyed by this delay I could have hit him. But of course I didn't.

So I guess the answer is, patience.

I pushed the HIT button and after about 2 minutes a Taylor Swift song finally started playing on the jukebox.

Surreal.

Both the original and all the responses. I'm really enjoying this. I don't understand anything, but there is something mildly pleasant about my enigmatic state.

Welcome to the forum Renatofuzz.

Are you talking about the HIT button on a TC Helicon Play Acoustic pedal? If pressing the HIT button is causing vocal delay regardless of which patch you have selected, I'd perform a full backup, then reset the unit to factory fresh. Perhaps also make sure you have the latest firmware.

Thanks for the laugh!!! I definitely remember more HITS from my younger days and experience many more delays now. :-)

Best,
