Default New Dunlop Ultex Picks

I bought some of the new Dunlop Ultex picks today and so far I really like them. They are supposed to compete with the Clayton Ultum and, from my ears, they do. I play the .60's. The next jump up is .73's.

They had a nice smooth attack, responsive and clear. Not a lot of pick "cladder" sound. Historically I play the orange Tortex .60's but replaced them with the Clayton's, .63's, a couple of weeks ago, now I will most likely stick with the Clayton's and Dunlop Ultex. There is a subtle difference between the two...ever so subtle. Probably due to the .03 in thickness.

Give them I shot, I think you will like them. They are also supposed to be very durable.

I have also tried the Dunlop Ultex .73 and
I think they are great for most acoustic playing.
I have yet to try some other gaiges.
I have noticed that they wear out quicker
then the Claytons at the tip. But they are
less expensive.
