Default New old discovery

I first started working on this melody some 25 years ago. Back then I was trying to learn slide guitar and while I learned a little about that, the open tunings really intrigued me. So I began to come up with different little melody ideas. That's how the guitar works, you'll be in the middle of one thing and then discover something altogether different. Plain and simple, it's about patterns and melodies.

Very nice Perry!

A lot of those voicings remind me of sounds I used to hear from Joni Mitchell; she used so many open tunings. I wonder if she made some of the same discoveries as you have...

Very nice and lovely setting once again! Love your bench and that old Gibson!

That's right Glenn, I remember learning some of her more popular songs, from the late 60s. She used open tunings most of the time as I recall.
Thanks Glenn
