Garageband Waves Plugin problem

I'm evaluating a Demo of the Waves CLA Vocals plug-in with GarageBand and I want to insert it into the individual vocal track . When browsing available plug-ins on that track, CLA Vocals isn't an option. If I choose Master, it shows up there.

How can I use CLA Vocals on an individual track?

I'm stumped. I'm using Garageband 10.1.6 on Mac OS 10.11.6. Thx in advance.

Thanks I did try that without success. I just discovered tech support is there today (their website advertises otherwise but a live chat operator corrected me). Turns out this specific PlugIn only works on stereo channels. D'oh!

Humm that's funny and I was going to ask about it being stereo on a mono channel , but thought surely a "Vocal" plug in would have a mono option
