Default favorite brick and mortar guitar stores

I have been extremely impressed with the local store in Lawrence, Kansas, Mass Street Music. The level of service and expertise is top drawer. I have only been familiar with one other store that I loved, but the owner retired and it is no more (Guitar Source in Overland Park, Ks--Roy DeWitt). Mass St. Music is worth the visit, and no, I am not an employee, just a duly impressed client, getting a DN4e Taylor on August 30. Any others have favorite, or not so favorite, retailers? Thanks, Reggie

LA Guitar Sales for me. Local, great guitar selection, and Ted and Helene are fun to hang out with!

Those in Houston have Fuller's Vintage and Danny D's. Two of my personal favorites.

I've never been to Mass Street Music, but I would like to get there. I met Tim Nelson, one of their guitar guys, when he was working at a couple of different stores here in Colorado. I always considered him a very cool, knowledgeable guy.

I have a few different favorite stores. They are, in no particular order:

The Music Emporium in Lexington, MA
http://www.themusicemporium.com/

Wildwood Guitars in Louisville, CO
http://www.wildwoodguitars.com/

and Artisan Guitars in Franklin, TN

Fuller and Danny's in the Houston are great and Fullers is a major sponsor of the Fire on the Strings blue grass festival. My other favorite is our sponsor Hearts Home acoustic, they have an incredible selection of high end guitars, but sadly no lefties.

Harry's in Raleigh. Survived the onslaught of the big box stores and the Internet. Great guitar tech in Ben Runkle. Nice stuff hanging on the walls. Knowledgeable staff.
