New Composition-Requiem for Lin
I wrote this a few years ago on the passing of my step-mother, with whom I was very close. The A part is the loss, grief, and resolve, and the B part is the celebration of life. Stay with the audio for final phrase which speaks to the mystery of it all.
The video is the B part of the piece, but you can hear the whole piece here: https://soundcloud.com/user-651691018/requiem-for-lin I hope you give it a look/listen, and as always any comments are appreciated! Score is available if anyone wants to give it a go! Thanks, Peter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQFoNkJXhN8 Last edited by sdluthier; 03-21-2018 at 12:38 PM. |

Thanks for sharing and nice job. A little mystical, open ended. Did something similar in memory of my mother.

Thanks rick-slo! Yes, open-ended, suspended, a nod to the infinite mystery.
I appreciate your comment. pdo |
