Default 1957 Martin D-28

This 1957 Martin D-28 is a well preserved classic, with it's aged Sitka Spruce top and super straight-grained, perfectly quartered Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. The kind of wood we just dream about these days. The smooth "V" neck makes for effortless playing, and the voice is the classic sound we all associate with the Martin guitar - smooth, present highs, not overly bright, with a rich, woody bottom end. You don't see many of this vintage in this kind of condition. It's like an old friend whose wisdom and experience you can rely on year after year. Collector or picker, this is the good stuff!

I'll admit, I feel a little lightheaded after playing this one! There's really nothing out there like a well-maintained old Martin, and this one is in absolutely stellar condition. This one had its neck reset quite recently, with a perfect setup. Rip roaring and ready to go!
