2. SOLD 1989 Taylor 712 grand concert size + ship
15" lower bout, 25.5" scale, 1-11/16" nut width, 3-1/8" to 4" body depth, spruce top, Very nice looking rosewood back and sides, 14-fret mahogany neck, 20 fret ebony fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, ebony bridge, black body and fretboard, gold logo, tortoise plastic pickguard, w-b-w-b top purfling, chrome Schaller tuners

This guitar was played and has really opened up over the years. It shows typical wear plus what is noted below. Sounds great and plays well. It had a fret dress last year and the bridge was reset. I added an under-saddle Fishman Matrix Infinity pickup with sound hole controls professionally installed. I am the original owner.

Condition details
  • The back and sides are very nice. the back has 1 finish ding that was filled but still noticeable. shown in photo
  • there is a small crack at the top of the sound hole shown
  • there is a small finish line in the lower bout on the seam
  • there is a small finish chip that was refilled just below the bridge high-e side that occurred when the bridge was reset by a certified Taylor shop last year. It was filled but you can see it if you look carefully.

Default Minor detail

Not especially important, but I question whether your Breedlove was built in Portland. Bend, Oregon is a good possibility, but almost certainly not Portland.

Default Open to a Trade?

Mark,
I have a great guitar that I am considering selling or trading. Just want something with a cutaway. Guitar is a bit rare and in mint condition. It's an Eastman AC508M - solid Mahogany, flamed on top. Ebony fret board. Plays like butter. This was a limited run, so it's not even on their website, but below are specs off a dealer site (Guitarsplususa.com) Has a Fishman built in pickup.

The best mahogany GC on the market! Absolutely amazing! We had a few of these custom built just for us, and they are fabulous. If you're into all-mahogany guitars, you'll want one of these!

The perfect guitar for blues fingerstyle!

Specs:
Grand Concert Body Style
Slotted Headstock
15" x 4 1/4" Body Dimensions
Solid Mahogany Top
Hand Carved, Scalloped X Bracing
Maple Rosette
Solid Mahogany Back & Sides
Rosewood Headstock Veneer
Mahogany Neck
Dovetail Neckjoint Construction
25" Scale
1 3/4" Nut
Ebony Fingerboard
20 Nickel - Silver Frest
MOP Micro dot Inlays
Ebony bridge with nominal bone saddle
Gotoh Tuners
An amazing guitar! They don't get any better than this!

I have also included a link to some pictures of my guitar/original case.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the interest. That looks like a nice guitar but I haven't played Eastman so I am not familiar enough to trade without playing. I have listed the guitar on ebay but I would be willing to offer free shipping if you are interested in purchasing. You can email me if you want to pursue further. Mlando at comcast dot net.
