If you haven't had the opportunity to play one of the new Taylor 600 series, you should find a way to do so. This guitar is extremely resonant, with more bass than a body this size should be able to produce. The light bracing, hide glue, and thin finish have all come together to make this guitar seem much more "alive" than other Taylor guitars. If you make a conscious effort to minimize the damping created by human-body-to-guitar-body contact, you will surely be amazed at how this thing springs to life when you strum it. It's really quite beautiful, too! The new 600s are difficult and time consuming to build, and Taylor is running way behind on their production. Consequently, these guitars are in short supply and high demand. Grab it before it gets away!
