Default The grandaddy of all Guitar Sales Has Ended

Another perfectly wonderful guitar up for sale here on the AGF. I have a terrible habit of buying a real nice guitar, enjoying it for a few years then selling it to buy another. I have owned several BTO Taylors, a Collings, a Goodall and now this one. This compares as good or better to that level of guitar. It's by far the prettiest and plays and sounds like it looks. Big warm bass and delicate trebles and when you need volume it gives it to you without breaking apart. Headroom to the max. The back and sides were hand chosen from their best stack of Cocobolo. $3200 is the sales price. Shipping and Paypal included. This will be the final sales price. No negotiations. This price will include shipping and Paypal fees.

Note: There is an LR Baggs Lyric installed. It can easily be removed with no complications. If you do not want the Baggs Lyric, I will remove it and reduce the price $100.

PS: The pics have reflections from the blades of grass in them. They are not scratches. The finish and condition is awesome.

Here is the information directly off the current Taylor BTO price list:

6 String $3000
Grand Symphony
No Cutaway
Electronics - No ES - Has a Baggs Lyric installed currently - $199
Ebony Bridge
Right Handed
Nut Width - 1-3/4"
Standard Scale Length
Standard Neck Carve
Back and Sides - Cocobolo $2000 (Hand picked)
Premium Adirondack Spruce Top $600
3 Piece Back w/Koa mini wedge $50
Mahogany Neck
Adirondack CV Bracing w/Relief Route - $200
Cocobolo Headstock Overlay - $100
Cocobolo Truss Rod Cover
Cocobolo Back Strap - $300
Binding - Figured Hawaiian Koa - $600
Purfling - Fiber (Black/White)
Abalone, Paua Single Ring Bound Soundhole - $300
Fretboard Inlay - 2mm offset Abalone Dots
Gloss Finish - Neck and Body
Peghead Logo - Taylor Paua Abalone - $250
Tuners - Gotoh 510, Antique Gold - $175
Bridge Pins - Ebony w/Abalone Dots $6
Pickguard - Clear
Nut/Saddle - Bone - $120 (Saddle was handcrafted by a local luthier for better intonation)
Fretboard - Black Ebony
Taylor Hardshell Case

I enjoyed hearing the tone transform over the past 2 years. I think you will appreciate what it sounds like today.

Update: Just took this guitar to Dusty Strings in Seattle. They would replace the first three frets (which really aren't in terrible shape) and offer it up for $3500. So I will do better. I will replace the first 3 frets and offer it here for $3100 with perfect frets. The work will take a couple of weeks though.

Sales Price: $3100 PayPal
Note about shipping: I have a Taylor Box ready to safely ship anywhere CONUS. I will ship to you using the cheapest means possible using USPS, UPS or Fed Ex. If you are outside the CONUS you will need to add the difference in Shipping to the sales price.

Sorry the Pics couldn't be better. Thanks for looking!

I think I have seen that build in a short scale before. ;-)

That is a gorgeous guitar.

You have something there. I have been trying out short scale with light gauge strings and enjoying how much more comfortable they play. My hands are just telling me I'm getting old.
