Default 12 Bar Blues Question

So I thought I knew how to play this but now I am second guessing myself. I turned to Youtube to help me out and this is what I came out with.

and

Both claim to be the 12 Bar Blues but both are very different. Can someone dumb it down for me other then they are in different keys?

The first one shows 'one way' on how to play a 12 bar blues in the key of E using a particular fingering. It also demonstrates how that theoretically is transposed to different keys.

The second one demonstrates basically the same thing using different fingerings, keys and a different pattern.

Herein lies the MAJOR problem with learning solely from free or almost free videos: There is no way for you to ask the 'instructor' a question if you don't understand something. There is also no way for the instructor to give you feedback if you're doing something wrong.

That's what I figured both for the videos and what you stated. I appreciate the quick response and feedback.

Don't get me wrong. Learning from videos, books, and/or other resources is always helpful and can save you oodles of time. I'm glad to see that you're working at it and wish you the best on your journey.

You'll also always find a lot of helpful folks here on the AGF.

Twelve bars with I-IV-V chords (with some variations in chord order and chords (sevenths, subs).

First video is easier to follow regarding a basic pattern. In that video
I I I I
IV IV I I
V IV I V

Plenty of written info on the web available.
