I have the Big Baby in which I installed a Fishman Natural Sound II, undersaddle pickup. If I were doing it all over again I'd probably install this pickup:

Default Baby Acoustic Pickup

Anyone know if an LR Baggs M1 Soundhole pickup will fit a BT?

Default K&k

I've put K&K pick ups in several of my guitars. I highly recommend them!

The K&K Western Mini will fit in a Baby Taylor. Have read of folks doing so. I plan on putting one in my wife's Baby Taylor but haven't gotten to it yet.

I have the same question too. Does anyone know if the M1 would fit a BT?

To paraphrase the question, the M1 requires at the minimum soundhole diameter of 3.5". What's BT soundhole diameter?

I don't think so because the Baby's soundhole is quite a bit smaller than the "standard" soundhole.

BTW, most soundhole pick-ups will cost more than your Baby. You could get a Schertler (sticks to the outside of the top), but again it will cost MORE than your Baby, but the advantage is that you could use it on all of your guitars.

I'll bet a K&K Pure Western Mini would sound great and I will probably put one in mine one day.

Another vote for the K&K PWM. Should work just fine. I had one put in my D-28 and I'm amazed at the sound.

Took a measurement of the Baby's soundhole... it's exactly 3.5". So, it should (barely) fit the M1 pickup, although I'm not 100% positive until I actually try it.

Default LR Bagg Lyric

I have an LR Bagg Lyric in my Baby Taylor. The Mahogany body is darker sounding so you need to get the presence dialed in right and you're good to go. Simple and straight forward to use.
