I’m kicking myself for forgetting Tony - he has done some incredible 12s, including a short scale one that was at Mighty Fine Guitars in Lafayette,CA that was an amazingly easy to play small body - and he’s done some larger ones that were equally great!!

I have a Kinscherff 12 string that Jamie built for me in 2007 and a 2012 Ralph Bown 12 string that is tuned to B or B flat. Both are, in my opinion, world class instruments.

I'll throw a plug in for Jamie Kinscherff. I commissioned a 12 strIng High Noon model from him a number of years ago. It was powerful, yet sweet and rich.

Here's one of Jamie's 12 string High Noon models that's for sale. A beautiful piece of lutherie!!

Default Greven

Greven told me some months ago that he is no longer taking orders, but is finishing those to which he has committed. He may be making some builds for his own fun afterwards.

I had the great pleasure of seeing Dave Matthews play a benefit concert at my hometown football stadium last night, and he played a tune on a beautiful sunburst Rockbridge 12-string.

John is not taking orders for the immediate future, while he whittles down his extensive back log of orders for new guitars and Martin conversions. After he gets his order list cleaned up a fair bit, he will go back to taking orders.
