Actually that BR-143A at Maury's Music is quite tempting, were it not for the added shipping and tax cost, I'd jump on it.

+1 for the Yamaha LS line.

There is a used LS16M on reverb right now for 550 bucks.

Good luck!

I have to read up a bit more on Adi vs Sitka. I heard that Adi is like the rosewood of top woods, and that it is very scarce in old growth quality and also, reading the AGF thread on the topic, I think I'd be happy with a sitka top.

Yeah, and that sucks man.

I wanted you to be able to see the specs.

Good luck, and have fun in your search! And of course we will need a NGD thread with pics.

No problem at all. Blueridge should be available in the EU, they used to be everywhere.

Since you mentioned Recording King, the RO-310 might be worth checking out. It's an OM/000 with solid Mahogany back and sides with a solid Adirondack top.

They have a number of solid-mahog-spruce smaller body guitars, I have my sight trained on one. Don't know how good they sound though.

I have an ROS-06 as well as an RO-310. Loved the tone of the ROS-06 which I've had for a couple of years so I bought the RO-310 recently. I bought it to use onstage to lead worship at church cuz I didn't want anything to happen to my Collings CJ that I normally used. The RO-310 doesn't disappoint. The tone is quite a bit different than the ROS-06 in that it's not as deep in the bass but has a more balanced tone. I strum 90% of the time since I normally am a rhythm player and it's great for that purpose.

Not sure if this helps as I'm not very good at explaining tone.

Interesting difference between the two. The 06 is a laminate mahogany body with a solid top, the 310 is all solid, with a red spruce top and solid mahog body. Maybe someone with more knowledge about construction can point out the reason.

I'd look for a nice used D-15. Can't beat em IMHO.
