Default Leo Posch DS-M ***Sold ***

Tough decisions lead to sell this wonderful D12 slope-shouldered beauty. And I do mean beauty. IMHO this is the prettiest burst I've ever seen, and while I fully realize this is a subjective statement, I've seen a lot of bursts.

**Update** I am really torn between this Posch and the SCGC 1929 000c I have on the forum. I can justify either one, but not both. Whichever sells, the other one stays. If you're on the fence, time to make an offer.

The instrument is incredibly light and responsive with a thunderous bass--particularly in a dropped D tuning. Excellent +++ condition with TKL case also in excellent +++ condition.

Leo Posch DS-M No. 85

Built in May 2015-
Incredible fit and finish
Near Mint Condition

Honduran Mahogany Back and Sides/Red Spruce Top
Hand Rubbed Sunburst
Custom rope Purfling
Waverly tuners
Clean, rich tones
12 Fret
1.75" Nut
Scale length: 25 1/4"
2 5/16" String Spacing at the Saddle
I'd describe the neck as a very comfortable, relatively narrow C shape.

PRICE REDUCED TO: $3150.00 shipped CONUS Payment fees (if any) are responsibility of the buyer. No trade offers please. Only selling to reduce the # of guitars I own. Market is very slow, but this instrument is a solid value at this offering. No low-ball offers, please.

Eye candy. Photos used by permission.

Let me know if you have any questions. Lots of deals here on AGF and lots of references available. Thanks for taking a look!

Smile What a Killer Axe

Tremendous guitar and formerly owned by a few of AGF's finest folks! Not only is it a beauty but I am assured by former owners it has TONE and volume to spareas well...

Just think of the cool DNA you can acquire with this beauty! Woohoo...

Alas, I too am overloaded but it is still a temptation!

Best on this sale and kudos to the next owner.

Cheers

Paul

Thanks Paul, and you are dead right. As pretty as it is, what really stands out is the tone. Kind of like a top-shelf Martin on steroids for lack of better description.

This guitar has amazing tone and one of the prettiest, if not THE prettiest bursts I've ever seen. Someone should grab this one.

Frank is a prince to work with. Buy with confidence!

Thanks Mike. Thought it was sold, but buyer appears to have backed out. Not totally sure that's a bad thing.

Posch is here until either it, or the SCGC 000c 1929 sells. Would love to keep them both, but just can't justify it with so little time to play.

Treat yourself!

I am a former owner of this guitar. It is a killer 12 fretter.

Leo Posch build quality is superb.

Everyone knows Frank is a great guy to deal with.

I am very surprised this is here, especially at this price.

I am the owner of two Posch Honduran Rosewood guitars and I would love to have one in Mahogany.

If this guitar were smaller, it would be mine. Beautiful instrument at a fantastic price!

Rob and Warren, thanks for your input. And you are spot on. Leo Posch is not as well known as some builders, but his quality and attention to tone and detail is top shelf.

What is the depth of the body at the neck block and at the tail block?

Thank you,
Warren

Warren: 3 7/8 at the neck and 4 3/4 at the base.

Thanks for asking.

Thanks!

Since I play smaller guitars, I was hoping that it might be a bit shallower.
