Sorry the image is so small, my photobucket account doesn't work any more.

Trevor has made an interesting point, about Photobucket. MY account also has stopped working, and now I cannot see any photo on the Forum--I just get a Photobucket logo and an instruction to upgrade. Have looked into upgrading but it will cost, so I don't plan to do that.
It's too bad that this is the service required by the Forum, a service we must pay for for it to function. Are there other options??

I use smugmug now. It costs 71 dollars a year, which ain't bad and it works like a charm. I recommend it.

Flickr is a really good alternative, free, more option, and similar to photobucket. You do need to change a the URL a bit when inserting pics. PM if needed any help.

Flickr works pretty good. I just figured out how to post pictures using Flickr. You need to used the bb code and their easy to post. I just now deleted my photobucket account.

This is a good one. You can use it without joining for casual pictures that you are not bothered about ownership or you can join properly and store them under your name.

Thanks for the suggestion. But will that enable all the existing images on the Forum to suddenly reappear? I'm still finding this situation annoying. Everything was working perfectly fine, and then suddenly nothing works. And I'm so swamped with various work and other obligations that I simply don't have time to fool with things and try and figure out a new system. Someday, but not right now. And it's too bad. The Origins Of Bluegrass guitar will be completed this week, and photographed Monday. Would love to share some images, but...

Grit,
If you use an iPad, you can download the Acoustic Guitar Forum app and easily upload pictures from your photo-library, to the forum.

I have been recommending them for years ... have been a subscriber for at least ten years and have never had a moment's problem ... they have a free subscription service, but I pay the minuscule amount for the upgraded premium service .... meet ImageShack
