Smile Taylor 714ce-FLTD came home with me last night.

I wrote on a couple posts yesterday about my experience playing this guitar at Fuller's Guitar in Houston on Tues. afternoon. I wanted my wife to hear the guitar Wed. so we drove up there after work and got to Fuller's 5 min. before closing time. Eric was good enough to stay and let me play it for a bit. I just wanted to see it one last time before going off for the weekend to Dallas, sure it would be sold before I could play it again next week. To make a long story short, Eric offered me a deal and my wife paid a third of that as a birthday present, so I was able to bring it home last night. I saved the photos from the Fuller's Guitar website so I'll try to post them now. I think this guitar will get the nickname "Sassy" to go with "Curly" and "Blackie" my other fall limited GA guitars.

Okay, just found out that the saved photos on my computer can't be uploaded here, and Fuller's has deleted that listing from their website. I have a Flickr account, but my wife said I'll get a kick in the shins, or worse, if I post photos to Flickr or Facebook where lots of people can see them and identify me. So I guess you won't get to see them. Don't understand why it HAS to be a web image, but that's not for me to know.

If you use Flickr, How would they identify you? Isn't your screen name all that's shown??

Default Fuller's

I had a great experience at Fuller's about a year ago. My wife and I went in early in the afternoon on a weekday morning. We were the only customers in the store for about an hour. After asking permission to play a few guitars, and the salesman (can't remember his name) realized I was fairly knowledgable about their guitars in stock, he gave me freedom to play any of their guitars. I wasn't brave enough to take down and put up their Presentation series, so I trusted him to do so. Played quite a few nice guitars: a great Santa Cruz and a BTO non-cutaway cedar/koa GA. It was a great afternoon, and I really appreciated how I was treated.

Congratulations on picking up a great guitar from a great store. I look forward to seeing some pics.

Shane

That's a great guitar choice, enjoy it. And thanks for warning me not to casually stop by Fullers when I'm in town.
