That's where the FingerTones surprised me. Odd feeling on the fingers to be sure, but felt quite natural playing with them. Felt just about as natural as fingernails, but (slightly) louder. I imagine the same applies to the Butterflys.

I ordered a set of butterfly picks - not cheap for us Canuks to order from the USA right now with our dollar at nearly 0.7. A $16 set cost me $28.35 after exchange and shipping, and I may still have to pay another 13% HST - that would bring my total to $32. Ouch!

Ouch indeed!

Having just checked back, I realise the ones I bought are not ProPik Fingertones after all. It was these:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000NGVQK...051_TE_3p_dp_1
Yes, that's the price for three, not just one. (Add £1 postage)
Still, it's hard to see the difference paying substantially more would make. As I said, they work very well. I just don't get "Propik fingertone" nicely engraved on the side. I guess I'll have to live with that....

Let us know how they work. I have thought about trying them several times.

I've seen ads for ProPik Fingertone fingerpicks. That look like they would be as close to 'au naturale' as possible. Has anybody tried these? I'd like to find something similar for the thumb - any suggestions?
I just ordered 3 of the propiks, what the heck, small investment.

Did you get the single or split wrap? Looks like the split would be more customizable to your fingers.
