Default Seeking Taylor dreadnought body

Hello,

I have a Taylor DN3 that has a body in sort of rough shape thanks to a botched Fishman install... also has a couple repaired cracks. The headstock though has a custom inlay that I want to keep.

I'm wondering if anyone out there has a spare dreadnought body from a 300 series or higher built after the switch to the bolt-on neck, or has one with neck damage but the body is fine, and might be interested in selling.

This is a DN3 in the classifieds for a very reasonable price. You're probably better off replacing the guitar, given how soft the used guitar market is.

How bad is the botch job, photos ?, you would be surprised what your local luthier may be able to do (hopefully they did not do the botch install).

You can buy replacement bodies from Taylor, I know repairers can, pretty sure its also available to general public.
