Ha, perhaps but I think someone recognizes the guitar and knows its value. Not for me mind you, just curious.

It is a 50's, or maybe early 60's, Danelectro guitar. Quite coveted by vintage electric players.

Yes. Most often, I see the double cutaway version—as used by Jimmy Page.

Silvertone U-1, 1950-60s, made by Danelectro. $500 and up on Reverb.

"...unknown if this works as it should..." says the ad, you would probably want to check on that before placing your bid .
