Even if you decide to rewire the amp, if you're planning on using the original trannies, you'll still need to check and see if you've got a working 6VAC filament tap for your power tubes.

Yeah, I haven't gotten to it yet. I will post when I do. If it turns out to be a hand build it will be my winter project.

Death of a Bugera V22
Dear all,
Allow me to introduce myself. I am the manager of the MUSIC Group Care Center in Nevada which is in charge of servicing and managing spare parts for the brands Midas, Klark Teknik, Turbosound, Behringer and Bugera. Looking at the V22 schematic, my guess would have been the fuse that goes to the heater filament (i.e., F4) went open. BTF's reply seems pretty on point. Should you need a replacement, this fuse can be obtained at any electronics store or by contacting our Spares Department at 702-800-8290 or [email protected] Please let me know if I can be of any other help. If you ever travel to Las Vegas, please feel free to drop by so we can give you a little tour. Kind regards, Bart BOLTON Manager, CARE MUSIC Group [email protected] 1-702-800-8290 extension 5771

Greetings Mr. Bolton! This thread is- as Marlene Dietrich said- "So old it's new!" ;D
I had quite forgotten it. I'd love to know how things turned out... Welcome to the forum! Bill. |

Another welcome here - I'm a long-time owner (since 2010) of a very-much-alive, mildly-modded V22 (NOS Russian mil-spec tubes, Eminence Swamp Thang speaker, mild rebias) and I couldn't be happier...
Looking forward to your continued input... |

Funny, I just started thinking of this again. I pulled the chassis out way back last year and lost the enthusiasm for digging into it. But it's still in the to do list. I'll get into this dirty business sooner or later.
