I agree that the Boss DD-7 is much better than the DD-3. Most relegate the
DD-3 for slapback. The DD-7 is pretty luscious on the modulate delay.

Oh man, not sure if I should stay away from the forum or visit it even more often. Based upon a few recommendations in this thread to consider the DD-7 I went to read reviews and watch some videos. That pedal sounds absolutely fantastic and I really dig the nearly 40 second hold function that acts essentially as a looper. That is an added tool to what is already a Swiss-army pedal at a price point not much more than a new DD-3.

Thanks for the tips all

I'm also tempted to sell you my DD-7 at a great price because I have a Flashback x4 coming when i finish an amp project for a friend.

I could be interested but we both ought to take care not to break forum rules. Read under the second "blue" section here regarding AGF classifieds since neither one of us are charter members.

I can always provide my personal info and we could go from there should we both remain interested. Thanks!

Lol...why I said...tempted... :P

It'll be a while before I'm at that point...maybe a couple months. Likely longer than you'd wait.

Boss DD3 never sounded right on me on my acoustics, repetitions just sound too loud even with the level down, and it gives me an ugly bouncing effect, still a great delay for electric though.
