Acoustic Bass string height

Hi All,

I'm still researching for my Acoustic Bass build and I have a bunch of questions.

My first one is about string height, not over the fretboard but right in front of the bridge. I shoot for 1/2 inch from the soundboard on my steel string guitars.

Would an ABG be the same?
