Default Bird Bath

Topped up the water in our bird bath this morning and soon after I caught these 2 Rainbow Lorikeets having a ball.

Wow, beautiful birds and pic.

How fortunate you are to live where so many beautiful birds are in the wild.

Where I live we'd see birds like that in zoos.

Hi Bruce, I can relate and sympathise mate.

We also have a huge problem with these nuisance birds around my part of London.

They have to be culled regularly to keep the numbers down.

I’m all for conservation, so I like to up-cycle any that my cat brings in .

Among some of the many uses is to make them into feather dusters, just the job for removing the dead skin from under yer strings.

Or for intriguing Bronson, next door’s dog ...

Just thinking of all the up-cycling opportunities from the treasures cats will bring to their humans has me giggling quietly into my coffee while I work this morning.

Thanks for the laugh!
