Default Stephen Kinnaird Stairstep Maple Tele - SOLD!

Hey everybody, Steve and I recently took back possession of a couple of instruments that need to find homes. One is a 2013 Custom Tele-clone that we built for Danny Brevard of APM (Acoustic Pro Musician) fame. We don't build too many electrics, but hey they're fun...and you look pretty cool playing them.

This one is a Maple mashup with the killer Sunburst Stair-step (some call it "Angel-step") Maple cap, 5 piece Curly Maple neck, Bird's-eyed Maple fretboard, and a Quilted Maple pegged overlay. Add a solid Mahogany body and you've got one rockin' axe. Gold Lollar High-wind Imperial Humbuckers with a 5-way switch get you that honking Tele sound that you love.

This guitar has a couple miles on it, but it still looks very clean. There are two small dings on the mahogany on the back near the edge. We're selling this As-Is with a case (but we'll include a warranty as if you were the original owner). Originally we sold it for $2650, but now were asking xxXxx - shipping not included. This one is just too much fun for you to not jam on!

Stairstep Maple with one piece Mahogany body
25.5" scale length - 1 11/16" nut - 2 3/16" saddle
Gotoh 510 tuners
2 Lollar High-wind Imperial Humbuckers

Feel free to contact me here, PM, or email...heck call us. All inquiries are welcome. Thanks for looking and rock on.

Thought I would drop this to $1700 to see if that helps any interested parties. Still getting messages, but no one has taken it home yet!

That is a beautiful guitar!

And, I don't even play electrics...

And, I think teles are kinda homely, usually...

So, anyway, wow, that's outstanding work, ya'll--defies all my biases!

Thanks Bluepoet! Yeah, we're acoustic kind of people ourselves, but when called upon to make one, we try to give it our best. That's why you get all the cool wood on this one.

Thanks for the kind words
