Default Flugzeuge in meinem Bauch - Fingerstyle

Hi folks, this is my fingerstyle arrangement of the German song "Flugzeuge in meine Bauch" as the first upload of the new year. The song is 40 years old and was written by the German composer and musician Herbert Grönemeyer and released in 1984. I hope you enjoy my version.

Greetings and a wonderful 2024 for yall of you,

Jimmy

Lovely. Well done. Title translates, "Airplanes in my belly". My wife said, "I've felt like that." i wonder if that is the modern German idiom for "butterflies in the belly?"

We have butterflies in our stomachs here in Germany, too. The airplanes are Herbert's poetic variation, which turns the original feeling into a painful one. Groenemeyer is a renowned poet and his lyics are frequent subjects in German school classes.

That was really well played. You did a wonderful job in communicating the sorrowful and angst ridden nature of the tune.
Mission accomplished!

Thanks for your kind feedback Bob! Yes, it's the sad meaning of "Airplanes in my belly". Like a sad feeling inside.

Greetings - also to your wife my friend!

Yes, that's right! Thanks for your help to translate the poetic meaning!
