Installing Endpin Jack in 000 Martin
I was about to install A McIntyre acoustic feather when I realized the guitar's small body prevents me from reaching inside to the endpin to install the jack. Is this a forceps/plier situation or is there a better way?
Thanks in advance, Rick |

I just used a chopstick thru the endpin hole into the jack, then carefully pulled the jack thru the hole until I could get the nut started.

I saw a video online where the guy used a G string (guitar string, not the other kind) to fish it through. I have had good luck with this procedure.

Install endpin
I usually get my boney armed little niece to thread it through for me. The conversation while we are trying to get this done is usually pretty funny.

A 1/4" dowel that can reach from the endpin hole to the sound hole (plus 6-8"). Run the dowel from the endpin hole to the soundhole, insert into the jack, and slowly pull back out the endpin hole.
