Default Bridge

Hi Tad,

Those are some very nice guitars,wow!
Love the bridge,is it of your own design?Would that be considered floating?

Beautiful. I like the little 'twist' in the F-hole design. The light technique for thicknessing is pretty cool too.

Thank you, yes it's an early version of my ultra-light archtop bridge, floating/held on by string tension, inspired by classical instruments. I've since moved to an adjustable two piece version with a smaller footprint.

The idea is to be as lightweight and minimal as possible, yet still very strong, made out of solid rosewood, allowing the guitar to be highly responsive and resonant. Overall weight is just under 5lbs.
