Thanks for all the compliments. I truly appreciate the encouragement.

Of course this is a Martin dreadnaught shape and size. The bracing is the same as a 1937 Martin D-28 that an acquaintance of mine owns. It has the same forward-advanced X bracing with scallops sized and located the same as his pre-war '37 on both the X braces and tone braces. So it has a traditional Martin sound.

The side sound port is my design and done mostly by hand (a fair amount of work since it is not just a drilled or routed hole as most often done). The reinforcement wood grain is 90 degrees to the side's grain so that it is extremely strong. In person, players and non-players often comment first about the port on my guitars. Its a player's feature that improves the volume of sound that most players hear (proven by blind testing). Of course, not all players want a sound port which I respect.
