Default Anyone with comments on Fender G-DEC amps?

I was considering a drum machine and then I saw the Fender GDEC amps on the Fender website. If advertising is accurate, these sound too good to be true. Any comments from anyone who has tried/has one?

I was also looking for a tube amp and have tried several small ones. What is your opinion of the following:

Fender Blues Jr.
Fender Super Champ
Fender Hod Rod Deluxe

Peavy Classic 30

Thanks,
Terry B.

I've got a G-DEC 30 and will say that it's definitely a fun little practice amp. Lots of backing tracks, full control over key and tempo, room to put midi songs in, etc. Lots of control over this little amp, and it doesn't sound too bad either. The preloaded settings are way to heavy on reverb, but you can adjust that along with all the other variables...so much to tweak with these.

Here are a few tracks I've recorded on it just messing around with backing tracks.

As far as small tube amps go, I have an Epiphone Valve Junior 5 watt head that I've fitted with JJ tubes and run it into a 1x12 cabinet. A little compression and a TS-9, and I'm content for hours.

Thanks for the feedback. Those tracks sound great to me, I appreciate the links.
I looked up the valve junior on the internet and read some very impressive reviews. I also looked up the TS-9 and read impressive reviews there as well.
I will look into this a little deeper.
Thanks again.

Default me too

I have recently been through same thing, after playing a Gdec and Gdec Jr at GC. I had some fun jamming around, but I suspected that I might tire from some of the limitations, so I got a drum machine (zoom RT-223), and plan to get a looper soon too (digitech jamman or boss RC-2).
I use headphones with it alot (or into my small mixer) and out to Fender ProJr tube amp. I just got a BluesJr too (sitting waiting for me at my office), and have not tried that one yet (other than at music shops). I love those little Fender tube amps.

Enjoy!

I recently bought a GDEC-15 and find it is great for practicing and for just playing around. It had a few features on it that worked well for me like being able to plug in a portable CD, or Tascam guitar trainer, or headphones and I love the backing tracks on it.
