Acoustic Covers
Let's comment with old songs that could be arranged for solo guitar. I'll use Tommy Emmanuel as an example of success. Why does he play the cover songs he does?
1. Memorable when heard (popular across time) 2. Beautiful (lots of diverse chords for us guitarists) 3. Performance sticks in your mind (lingers after hearing) Give us you best song choices. I'm arranging songs now preparing for upcoming performance. Here's a Ray Charles classic - "Georgia on my Mind" https://soundcloud.com/david-l-white...gia-on-my-mind Help us all build repertoire that non-guitarists would want to hear. Thanks

here are some old songs that I have instrumental versions of on Guitar (tuned standard) / Roundneck Resonator Guitar (Tuned C G C E G D) The Chords aren't that diverse but when I play them (Fingerpicked / Fingerstyle) they sound beautiful. Most people know them and enjoy it when I play them.
