New original tune "The Curtain and The Wind"
Hi AGF,
Hope everyone stopping by here is doing well and have a cozy start to their December. Just released what's feels like 2 years' work finally coming together. Really happy with this one. Kept it simple as far as songwriting goes and didn't rush with the production. A friend in Vancouver I met through a Gregory Alan Isakov fan page on Facebook did the intro and outro animations, my recording engineer I've worked with for several albums did the audio and a local photographer friend let me use her space in an old distillery which had a beautiful natural light source to add to the atmosphere of the song. Some b-roll footage from time spent in Amsterdam and a Japanese garden sprinkled in just to add a bit of visual relaxation. I'm just really happy with this. My guess is because I never rushed any part of it... Will definitely be doing that more, going forward. Hope you enjoy it. Hey Dustin! So creative and beautifully produced! Taking the time really brought a spectacular outcome with this tune. Really loved the interlude where the pace picked up and brought a different texture to the main theme!
