The recording sounds very nice and natural. I have not messed around with alternative tunings...other than drop d. I need to explore some more it seems.

It sounds great.

What recording set up did you use??

Thanks so much for listening, Ray!! So interesting that you saw that slight aspect of "Little Martha"! Very cool!
Greatly appreciate it, Ray.

Thank you, Tim!! Very glad you enjoyed this one!
My set-up is very basic:

A pair of Shure KSM 137 condenser mics, spaced pair, to a Rane DMS 22 mic amp, into a Zoom H4n. My room is our dining room....very old house, 1905 with high ceilings. I use two broad band absorbers in front, one behind, close miced at about 12-14 inches.
All my tracks are mastered by a sound engineer on the west coast and that process is super helpful in getting them to be the best they can be via his incredible equipment. Can't leave out the guitar.....it's got tone to spare that helps the whole package to be sure.
Thanks again, Tim!
Fred
