Nothing too fancy here. Composite Acoustics GX (usually) into a Zoom G3 multi-effects pedal, into a Boomerang III looper, then into my Fishman SA220. Vocal mic is a Heil PR35, straight into the SA.
You young whippersnappers with your fancy videos....

I resolved the acoustic rig by just putting a preamp/blender in it and I don't use any effects. If they want to add reverb to the mains, I'm ok with that. But I don't pre-select that for them. I find the many drive units in your chain the most interesting part. I'm presently working with an amp which I use for worship team (I'm playing lead) which permits me to set up & access 3 separate drive settings (clean, overdriven, and a make-one-up-store-it setting), two of them with separate tone and effects. And my pedal allows me to add/subtract effect, delay and reverb for any voice as well. It's a nice self contained amp with a 6 button pedal that plugs into the amp, but I have to keep the amp right next to me (up on a stand) to manipulate tone and effects (and tap) manually on the fly. I like how you have solved a lot of that with all your drive pedals and the chorus/delay at the end. At first glance I thought that many drive pedals overkill, but then realized the incremental levels of volume and drive you can stack/unstack with it. |

i like your acc set up - i just WISH i could hear you play...I'm sure i'd be knocked out! Great to hear about your electric rig...there are SO many ways to get sounds it's almost overwhelming. I like your approach - sure appreciate the post, dale.
