Default Looking for a song about Colorado

I don't know who wrote or recorded this song, but I used to jam with some older guys in their 80's and one guy used to sing a song about Colorado.

Some of the words were that Colorado was a beautiful place and because of its beauty, you could/would find God living there. Something like that.

Would any of you know the name of such a song?
Thanks

John Denver did at least one song about Colorado. "Rocky Mountain High"

He may have done others.

"Rocky Mountain High" is now the official State Song for Colorado.

John also wrote and recorded a cool number called, "I Guess He'd Rather Be in Colorado".

Or, maybe it was the following?

"Colorado" - By Dave Kirby

There's a place where mother nature's got it all together
She knows just when to let wild flowers bloom
Some-how she always seems to know exactly what she's doin'
And The Lord saw fit to furnish elbow room.

[Chorus:]
Have you ever been down to Colorado
I spend a lot of time there in my mind.
And if God doesn't live in Colorado
I'll bet that's where He spends most of his time.

I'd love to be there watching early in the morning
The sun comes up and crowns the mountain king
If by chance you dare to be there high upon the mountain
I swear that you can hear the angels sing.

[Chorus:]
Have you ever been down to Colorado
I spend a lot of time there in my mind.
And if God doesn't live in Colorado
I'll bet that's where He spends most of his time.

Pitar, thanks. The one about God spends most of his time there is the one.

I couldn't find it in my search, of course I wasn't quite sure what I was looking for. Thanks once again.
