The Gefells didn't come with a mount. I picked up a couple of generic shock mounts but this looks like an easy and fast way of setting up for ORTF recording. It's a very cool use of a 3D printer as well so this purchase might be as much about curiosity as it is about music.

My interest is convenience as with the Schoeps shock mounts I would have to use two mic stands

Hi Jim,
Isn't the Rycote INV a 'series' of shock mounts, with different models for different mic lengths and diameters? If so, which Rycote INV model is compatible with the shapeways?

That's a good question. I didn't ask about it because I'm not sure I'm going to bother actually using the Rycote mount. I just sent him the question and I'll report back on the answer.
