Default My new line 6 amp

Today I scored this line 6 spider 111 15 watt amp for $80 Aud. Sounds so much better than my crappy Samick amp and has 5 watts more power too.
Still learning how to tweak the settings but so far sounds great and was in mint condition.

Nice upgrade and a good deal - these amps are popular for a reason and will give you a whole new range of tonal options! Enjoy!

*and make sure the firmware is up to date

Spider 3s are fairly old (>10 years), but not sure what amp prices are over there, these are usually under US$50 used.
Lots of fun experimenting with the built-in FX.

$80 Au is about $62 US so it's fairly close. This thing is in mint condition, still looks brand new for a 10 year old amp. I want to get a cable to plug it into my iPhone to listen to music from it as it sounded great when the dude I brought it from demoed it for me with his iPhone.

You'll need a cable for whatever size (stereo) that plugs into your phone (1/16"?) to 1/8" stereo TRS. Note that the volume of the music you'r eplaying on your phone will be controlled by the phone - the 'Master' volume control on the amp will only work on your guitar input.

My son has the IV and you can get some cool high gain tones from that thing. It's quite loud too for its size so congrats!

Do you know what the cable is called or where you can get them from? For an iPhone is it just lightning connector to 1/8 " stereo TRS?

Congrats! I have that same amp (or was it version II) that I bought to keep in my NYC corporate apartment when I was on assignment there.
