For Sale: Sold - 2014 Taylor 522e 12 Fret All Mahogany Grand Concert

Excellent Condition, no dings or scratches, just some minor pick swirls on the gloss black pickguard. All mahogany construction, short scale, 1-3/4" nut width, ebony fretboard and bridge, ivoroid body and neck bindings. The guitar is simple and elegant in appearance. I am only selling this guitar because I got a new K22ce 12 fret and the two are too close in tone to each other to justify having both.

Wonderful, balanced tone with excellent playability in the GC 12 fret body design. I added a set of gold Powerpins that I believe enhance the tone and make it very easy to install strings. I will include the original ebony bridge pins also if new owner wants to remove or I can swap out if buyer wants the original bridge pins. Includes OHSC which is perfect. This guitar includes the Taylor ES2 pickup and pre-amp system also.

The following link is a great comparison to the Martin 000-15SM. The aesthetics are certainly different and the biggest tonal difference is the 522e has a brighter top end which is what you would expect. Both guitars are great choices and one is not better than the other. Pinot versus Merlot, some like one or the other and some like both!
