Crack in guitar top. Is it worth repairing?
I was playing my guitar this morning and i realized there was a small hairline crack in my guitar top where the two pieces of wood are joined. Is it worth repairing? What should i do?

Its a simple repair - or perhaps it would be best described as a re-enforcement? I'd get a quick evaluation from a local repair person, and probably let them take care of it -

Always worth repairing.
Anything made of wood can be fixed. Get thee to a luthier. |

Cracks in anything tend to get bigger over time....

If you get it to a good luthier before it can get some dirt into it an invisable repair can be made.
Check you humidity levels these cracks are caused by dryness. Fred |

Check your humidity, its really been dry the last week or so over the mountain here in East Tennessee, you have some great luthier talent locally James Condino, & Ken Jones are really good. Good Luck
