Thanks! Its got fret buzz . I will take it in tomorrow and see whats up with that, didn't hear it plugged into the amps..but its there.

Now, I think I need a good busking amp, the clean PA I use is not the best. I will figure it out step by step.

Congrats Davis!! Happy New Tele Day!!!!!

Sounds like you gave it a lot of thought and a lot of playing time to come to your decision. Hope the fret buzzing is just a simple matter of a setup or truss rod tweak. After that gets taken care of we need to see some pix! Can't wait to see that sunburst!

Again congrats! Twang away!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is other MIM Teles than Standards only.
Try a Classic, Classic player or Deluxe + some Artists, they are great guitars.
Not much diiference to American Teles, much less than with MIM Std stock. It needs pick up upgade still, to come close to Squier Classic Vibes to begin with!
MIM Std is otherwise quite good guitar.

I think it's not a useful comparison. The US Tele is a 1968 and the MIM is current production. Not saying older is better, but a current US Tele would have been more relevant.

I agree. Comparison vids are always a bit iffy.
