Default 2008 Santa Cruz 00/m SOLD

This guitar is one of the progenitors of Santa Cruz's 1929 Depression line of guitars. Unlike the relatively plain Depression model though, this 00 has S29 purfling around the top, the rosette and in the backstripe as well as a high-gloss, nitrocellulose finish.

This all mahogany short scale guitar has the woody tone you expect from this combination of body size and the mahogany wood. It's a blues tone-monster.

This is one of those guitars I thought I wouldn't sell but I've been on a buying spree this year and my wife is complaining about guitar cases in every room! Got to keep the SWMBO happy, so this one is for sale.

Specifications:
Nut width: 1 3/4
String spacing at the saddle: 2 3/16
Scale: 24.75
Top: Mahogany
Back/Sides: Mahogany
Purfling: S29
Backstripe: S29

This beautiful guitar comes with the original hard shell case. Listed here for your consideration for $Sold$ shipped to the CONUS.

Below are some pictures, go here for more.

And here are a couple of soundclips

Yes, before I regain control of my senses and pull the ad! I recorded a soundclip and then asked myself what the heck I thought I was doing. . .

Thanks, Haasome. It is very special guitar. I'm not the original owner but I do know that it was a custom build via Artisan Guitars. I exchanged some emails with Richard Hoover on this guitar and he confirmed that this guitar was a part of the changes SCGC was making as it was working out what would become the 1929 Depression series.

Thanks, Daryl. She's a beautiful example of the great work that the Santa Cruz luthiers do. Light as a feather and a true pleasure to play.

That sure is pretty.

Same v-profile neck as the 1929?

Thank you! Yes, it is the soft-v neck profile.

Thanks for the info - v-necks aren't for me, unfortunately. (Or maybe fortunately, because I really don't need another small 12-fret mahogany guitar right now! ) GLWS!

Sadly I missed this, I am sure the new owner will enjoy this guitar very much. But just in case you decide to part with it I am interested
