Wechter Scheerhorn Dobro
I have a model 6510F Wechter Scheerhorn. Commonly referred to as the "frugalhorn" (i.e., an affordable Scheerhorn) this is the best sounding import square neck dobro I have ever played. Only selling because I play the Weissenborn more often and need to free up some funds. Comes with OHSC. Great condition, no issues, and pics available on request. $650 and I will cover the first $50 of shipping.

Questions:
does it have a pickup installed? Factory cone and spider or? Who did the setup, was it done by Wechter? Thanks..... BTW - these are very nice mid level reso's for Bluegrass

Great
I have one of these and they are killer for the money. I paid almost a grand for mine new and installed a K & K pickup. Fantastic sounding instrument. I have no connection to the seller, but had to chime in on this dobro for such a low price. Mine is on my permanent "NFS" list.

No pickup installed. As far as I can tell it's all stock although I can't be sure since I bought it used. It has not needed a setup since I've owned it. I can say for certain that it is louder and fuller in tone than the Beard/Gold Tone I owned with a Quarterman cone.
