Default Mixing advice/critique wanted

I recorded this cover a few days ago to have a song I can use to practice mixing. It's 'warts and all' with plenty of mistakes (lol) but I'm more interested in getting levels etc right for practice.

This is the first recording I've attempted to mix and while I think it sounds ok, I would really appreciate some feedback on how I might improve it. I have used some pre-configured EQ and compression settings from my DAW (Studio One) and tweaked those. There are some vocal and piano peaks that I would like to get rid of too (peak compression?).

There's no acoustic guitar in the track, hopefully I'm not breaking the forum rules here

Thanks in advance!
John
