Default Small dings on an all mahogany martin

How to repair small dings and dents on a Martin d15m. Obviously there is no binding and I have been unfortunate already and banged it. Nothing serious but what can be done?

On an unfinished spruce top the process is pretty well explained here by John Hall. My first build was using western red cedar for the top, which mars VERY easily and this technique worked well - even after I French polished the top.

A similar technique can be used on mahogany necks - though here the neck was finished only with tung oil:

If you have reservations about using this technique, here's a short video of somebody doing the process on the top of a D-41:

It all comes down to three things:

1: trusting yourself to do the repair
2: not rushing through the process
3: living with any consequences if you have any issues with the first two.

That being said, I think I may give it a go on the neck of my D-16GT which is Spanish cedar and doesn't like Kyser capos or Planet Waves string winders.
