Default Terada S616

Does anyone know about or own this guitar? I just won a Goodwill auction for the Terada S616--a student guitar (I assume) because it's only 37" long with a 1-3/4" nut. I cleaned it up and put on new strings (D'Addario J45). I think it's a laminate top (either cedar or naturally aged spruce), and probably laminate back and sides. I can't really tell by looking at the sound hole if it's laminate (see photos). Perhaps the experienced eyes out there can tell me. Even then, it has a good sound, full rich bass and clear crystal like high tones even at the 16th fret. The action is quite low and the neck is easy to play. I'm really pleased with it; and the best part is I only spent $30 on it.

I would appreciate any knowledge you may have or links to information, especially how old it might be. I am unable to find anything on this model on the internet.
